Beautiful, waterfront aspect, love the storm king dam it's situated around, where you can swim and kayak and have lots of fun. Camp grounds are clean and tidy and camp management an absolute please to deal with. AAA+ Highly recommended.

We stayed here some weeks ago for two nights in tents and found it to be a great little spot with powdered and watered sites available. Having a fire pit nearby was a nice touch given it was -1C at night and having wood delivered direct to the tent was great, too! The kitchen facilities were pretty good, but my only gripe there was that often only half of the gas burners on the cooktop worked. The hot water in the showers is timed, but given how cold it was, it took a good 2 to 3 minutes to warm up, which meant only a few minutes of actual warm water shower time - and often, it was just a dribble of hot water. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, too. Good, quiet location near the damn, too. A pleasant stay!
Clean and extremely tidy. Such a lovely greeting from the lady at reception and nothing was too much trouble. Powered sites spaced nicely giving everyone plenty of privacy. It is dry at the moment and Storm King Dam is down but I can see it would be a truly lovely spot when it is green and the dam is full. Great place to watch storms gathering!
Amazing place that had become my second home. I love to get out here as much as possible. Great central location for Girraween National Park and Bald Rock National Park. Awesome scenery. Fabulous staff and great facilities. 5 stars from me
