We stay here whenever we are in the Stanthorpe area. The owners are lovely and allow us to arrive very late by arrangement. The beds are perfect, always a good nights sleep. Great value for money.
Our room very small no place for a lot of stuff bit crowded when you spread your gear out for 2 people for 2 night
Not happy about our booking at all. Felt the springs on the bed which impacted my injuries, the walls were paper thin and we heard everything next door and outside. We Only had 1 plate and no bowls, 1 knife and 2 spoons with no forks which made cereal for breakfast challenging. When they made our room they did not update the plates or cutlery.This is the first bad review I have ever written so I do not like doing this but I wanted to share my experience so people are forewarned and maybe they will lift their game.
Customer services was great, very friendly staff. The room was very clean and tidy a good size room, loved the shower. I was booked in for all you can eat breakfast. This was yummy and able to sit in a dining room where it was roomy and cozy atmosphere. I look forward to staying again. Thanks for the hospitality High Street Motor Inn.
I was told that this motel had a good, wheelchair accessible room. It was much better, it was excellent! The ramp up to the the room itself was a little steep for unassisted manual wheelchairs but the room itself was outstanding in its adaption to mobility challenged customers. On arrival, it looks as though stairs are the only option to access Reception and the adjoining Steakhouse but an accessible pathway on the left hand side of the Steakhouse provides easy access to the restaurant and reception.
